Is that… SNOW ON THE GROUND?! I think it is! With that, our official 2018 road/track/cross season comes to an end, and all regularly scheduled outdoor rides will be officially stopped. Fear not, there will still be pick-up winter trail rides when there is a bit more snowpack, along with plenty of socials throughout the winter to get us through those long winter months.

Club Updates:

  1. The AGM! It will be on November 30th, and hosted at Artelier Studios, on the second floor. 10007 80 Ave, starting at 6:00pm. It will be fully catered by Mai Nguyen (no relation) so seriously, come hungry!! We have a bunch of official business to attend to, including elections. My position (President) as well as James Carver’s (Treasurer) are up for grabs. I will be letting my name stand, so if you want to run, we will have a good ol’ fashioned election again me! However, James will be stepping down so we will definitely need someone new!  More details are available on the Facebook Invite (message me for one)

  2. Looking for things to do over the winter? Here some ERTC approved initiatives!

    1. Spin Classes at WePhysio, hosted by Stephen Mundy. Note there is a fee. Mundy is a fantastic instructor and his workouts are very cycling fitness focused: https://www.facebook.com/events/2224081127858848/

    2. Join our ERTC Facebook page for pick-up trail rides once there is some more snowpack and less ice, along with a ton of knowledge from members about how to start a training plan at home!  https://www.facebook.com/groups/2316916558/

    3. Message me if you want an invite the ERTC-Cross Country Ski group - the number of members that ski is fairly high and there will be someone at all the major ski spots around Edmonton very regularly, with a wealth of knowledge, especially if you’re just getting into it!

  3. Please complete our annual survey. A link will be in your e-mail. We use this survey to help inform us of anything we should do different next year!
