Our Jakroo webstore is now LIVE! Thanks for your patience.  Please click here for access the available kit for purchase.  This first store of the season closes March 19th!

Couple housekeeping notes:

  1. Several items come in a variety of fits (relaxed, standard, slim) and available sleeve and leg length options.  If you are unsure of your size, please use the "Get a size recommendation" tool which provides a best starting point for your measurement inputs and desired fit (it uses AI, your measurements, and other kit you wear to come up with a fit recommendation).

  2. We are utilizing the Dynamic volume approach for this 1st batch order- as more members purchase the same kit item, the cost goes down on a tiered basis.  Final pricing for each item will be based on the highest discount level achieved for that item. You can see the current pricing right on the website (and you will see it go down as more people buy)

  3. Shipping for this batch order is shared across all of those who placed orders by the close date.  So the larger the volumes, the cheaper the shipping becomes.  Shipping is estimated somewhere between $18-30 but will depend on final order numbers.

  4. Once the store closes on March 19th, the total value of your order will be calculated and your credit card will be charged.

  5. Shipping of all the items ordered is direct to your home. Current delivery time frame is April 7th for this batch order.

  • We’ve partnered with the City of Edmonton to offer 20% off monthly memberships and 15% off punch passes at all COE Recreation centers. If you want to use to program, send me an email or a message and I will write you a letter you can present to the front desk (showing them the email is fine) You can find out the full pricing and information here: https://www.edmonton.ca/activities_parks_recreation/corporate-wellness-program

  • Interested or new to racing? Check out our try racing program here: https://forms.gle/jvtr4eh5awdvmQ6p6 - If you have any questions about starting racing in general, please let Jordon Magico know, as he is stepping up to help administer the program, as well as been another resource for our racing exploits.

  • Thanks to Adrian Richards for putting together a strength program for us! There are 3 commitment levels and you can review them here: https://www.ertc.org/winter-strength-training - Adrian is back this week so look forward to seeing him once again!

  • The new Jakroo webstore is in progress - we will be throwing the links up once that is all ready!

Velodrome Updates:

  • I have thrown up some “Interest Gauging” events for ERTC-Only Open Track times on strava. Open Track doesn’t have any structure, but you are able to work on whatever you like! You usually discuss what you want to do with the track monitor and if it needs the black lane to be clear, then you can discuss with them to have them clear the line when you wanna do your thing!

  • Activity Messenger Linkie: https://activitymessenger.com/org/4494/

  • Please continue to RSVP on both Activity Messenger and strava, however only RSVP on Activity Messenger if you are certain you are able to attend, and if you must bow out, to let somebody know ahead of time, as slots are limited to ensure a good experience for everyone and to ensure we are not in violation of safety regulations. We recommend only RSVPing for sessions 1 week in advance, as it has happened where people RSVP for multiple sessions in advance and have forgotten / no showed.

  • Additional time and certification session discussions with the AVA are underway, as many other clubs are requesting additional time at the velodrome as well. We will have updates for you when we have figured something out. Preliminary discussions likely have additional club time for all clubs on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings.

Ride Updates:

Racing/Event/ABA Updates:

  • You can now register for your 2026 UCI Race License (This is especially important if you are attending any events early season) as part of the club registration process. Should you choose to register for your license later on in the season, the cost of a community membership will be deducted from your race license cost.

General Reminders:

Have a cool photo from the last week you want featured? Send it to me via email (I need the resolution) and I’ll make it the header photo! Cool way to show off what you’ve been up to!
