2009 Pigeon Lake Road Race

The Edmonton Road & Track Club, Revolution Cycle, Nucleus, and Cannondale present the challenging Pigeon Lake road race. Field Limits are in effect, so register early. Pre-register by sending name, category, club and ABA Race Number (the number you pin on your jersey) to Jeff Davis at plrr@ertc.org or call 780-483-1880. 'net gremlins have swallowed some e-mails, so check back if you haven't got a reply by the next day. $13 of the entry fee goes to cash prizes so the more, the merrier!

The waves on Pigeon Lake have calmed and the new improved Sundance loop course has been finalized. We will, as always, start at the friendly and well-furnished Mulhurst Bay Community Centre, then go out to the new Sundance loop for some pretty and interesting roads and then wind up at the challenging finish you know and love.

The Alberta Bicycle Association has upgraded PLRR to 'Class A' Status - more upgrade points up for grabs! Were always looking for ways to kick PLRR up another notch, so were trying out a new course this year. We've kept the distances pretty much the same, but stayed away from narrow shoulders and traffic around the lake. Check out the new 24km Sundance loop and tell us what you think.
